Merry Christmas to all of you back home!

I know I’m a bit behind on my updates (oops, 4 weeks...), but I’ve just been too busy (and sometimes a little too lazy) :( On top of that, my laptop has been falling apart for a while now and has a particular fondness for spontaneous crashes, which isn’t exactly helpful for blogging.

But luckily, it’s Christmas! And my very own Santa Claus is bringing me a new computer tomorrow (at least that’s what I wrote on my wish list!), so I’ll be able to keep writing happily! :)

For now, though, I just want to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and some relaxing days! I still have lectures until next Thursday, but after that, things will finally calm down a bit for me too... yay!

All the best from the Bosphorus!

The old tram still runs daily through the crowds in Taksim, which, as you can see, is decorated for Christmas. Over the last few weeks, Istanbul has been full of Christmas kitsch and fairy lights... but not for Christmas, for New Year’s! :)
